Rights Respecting at Bridport Primary School

Rights Repecting Logo

Bridport Primary School is a school committed to:

• Equal Rights for all children
• Mutual Respect
• Shared Responsibility between pupils and staff
…in our school, in our community, in our country, in the world!

We are accredited with Level Two of the UNICEF award for supporting the Rights of the child. This means that we believe in promoting the UNCRC agreement signed by Governments to protect the children’s Rights worldwide.

All pupils at Bridport Primary School are fully aware of their Rights and the Responsibility they have to behave appropriately as young citizens in their community.

Pupil’s opinions are valued and their ideas always considered.
We endeavour to promote Global Citizenship through our creative curriculum and believe that every child should have the opportunity to have their say in the important issues that affect them and those who come after them.

Please follow the link to take a look as some examples of work we have done in our work as a Rights Respecting School.

Thank you
