Sport Relief - March 18th 2016

Bridport Primary School held a Sport Relief Mile on Friday 18 March which all the children took part in. It was a fantastic success due to the children’s enthusiasm for the run and the fact that so many parents showed up to support the runners. This gave the day a brilliant atmosphere.

Headteacher Debbie Brown says ‘When we come together as a whole school to do something we believe in it really is quite spectacular. I am so proud of all the children who ran, walked and smiled through the mile. Well done to everyone. I know we will have made a real difference to the lives of children who may need a little boost from time to time.’

Year 5 student Evie Cox agreed: ‘We had so much fun and hope our efforts have made a difference to a child’s life.’
