Year 6 - V-Day Parade

On the afternoon of Tuesday 5th December, Year 6 came together for a VE Day party! Families were invited to come along and see what the children had been up to as part of their Keep Calm and Carry On topic.

The school hall was transformed for the occasion...

It was decorated with bunting the children had sewn as part of their "make do and mend" work.

Music from the WW2 era was heard in the background as families and children made their way round the creative projects that children had worked on as part of their homework.

After learning about rationing, the children had made honey cakes and they were on offer to taste.

That wasn't everything! The children performed some beautiful WW2 songs and they showcased some fantastic Lindy Hop dances.

Well done, Langdon!
